I’m pleased that the floating accommodations will be excluded from overnighting in our lakes. It is not fair that they can enjoy the same environment as tax paying citizens without the same financial commitments. Read more

On weekends, several boats, both sail and power, anchor overnight off the north shore of clark (Cherry) beach. This is often an inconvenience to both local sailing clubs and swimmers. Does this regulation change affect them and how?

Communities with lakes should be able to opt out of having any floating accommodations allowed on their lakes. There should be rules in place for noise, waste and using the floating accommodations as a dock/landing spot for other watercrafts such as jet skis. Read more
