The intent is to build more houses within the province and a previous Bill(s) removed anything under 10 units from Site Plan Control requirements. The new PPS now brings Site Plan back into the equation, particularly when it comes to commenting on applications by CN.

Turning Green Belts which purify the air and turning them into car-dependent suburbia is not a sustainable development policy. Intensification where we re-develope existing housing into more dense developments, for example from single-unit houses into row-houses, is the way to go.
