It seems like the province is weakening the laws and oversight of toxic waste disposal in order to pander to corporations. Please do not weaken the laws or make it easier for industry to pollute.

For section 3.2.6, if the ministry is proposing allowing for overnight storage of Hazardous and Sewage waste I would also suggest or ask that it also allow for the overnight, until next business day, storage of Non-Hazardous, non noxious waste for all Junk removal companies. Read more

It seems to me that while the proposal may make the process easier for businesses, enforcement will suffer. Laws are only useful when there is consistent and continuous enforcement by the appropriate authority. Read more
