I am a rock climber and I am excited to see that the park may officially permit rock climbing as part of this amendment. Most rock climbers are nature lovers who are very keen to protect the environment and use best practices, such as leave no trace, while we enjoy the sport outdoors.

I am happy to see 3.3 objectives, recreation, proposed addition of rock climbing as a permitted recreational use. That is an excellent use of the park for recreation and exercise.

Rock climbing is a hobby enjoyed by many. It is a great way to get exercise outdoors and brings people together as a social activity. With its inclusion in the Olympics and the growth of the sport more people are climbing indoors and looking to climb outdoors.

This is a great proposal that should be implemented throughout all parks in Ontario with climbing opportunities. Such as Lake Superior park and sleeping giant.
As a climber whom frequently travels to the region to enjoy the outdoors and amazing climbing Devil's Glen has to offer; I am in support of the changes and what this means to the outdoor community.
