I make the drive up to the Pretty River area several times each year to hike or snowshoe. It is a stunning area and deserves to be protected for the sake of its wildlife, human enjoyment and future generations. Read more

As a longtime supporter and visitor of provincial parks and conservation areas, I am pleased to see this proposal for their expansions. It’s important to increase our protected areas for now and into the future. Would like to see even more areas of our beautiful province become protected.

I agree with the expansion proposal for Pretty River Park If it includes biking. The Escarpment Corridor Alliance newsletter mentions it BUT reading the Ontario website it doesn't mention biking. Read more

I strongly support these additions to park lands. I believe we need to do as much as possible to conserve and expand Ontario’s protected areas. This is necessary in order to protect wildlife habitat and allow nature to heal. Hopefully, such additions will help in the fight against climate change. Read more

I am saddened to see the decimation of our Provincial Parks, Conservation Reserves and protected areas, by not protecting ecological integrity and by the infrastructure occurring in these areas. I would comment that this is a “something is better than nothing” proposal. Read more

It is truly lovely to see parks being established and enlarged. Parks that will help preserve biodiversity and offer people a place to escape into nature. The latter is important and useful to people’s health and wellbeing and will end up saving the Province money on healthcare. Thank you! Read more
