This plan CAN NOT BE APPROVED. Norfolk County is Ontarios Garden! We have other space to develop and we can absolutely grow with out taking away our PRIME agricultural land. Norfolk feeds families Our infrastructure CAN NOT handle this growth! Read more

I do not believe that it is in the best interest of the residents of Norfolk County to build on prime agricultural land. Norfolk is known as Ontario’s garden producing so many vegetables and fruit. We need to ensure that we have food security. Read more

There is enough development happening within the town limits of Waterford. We do not have the necessities to grow the town to the projected numbers. Leave the limits as they are and let the current planned growth catch up. I

Let’s keep norfolk a farming small town community. It’s already expanded too much. Please stop. Let’s focus on what we have and the improvements needed to infrastructure etc. also hospital improvements and doctor retention etc. Read more

Agricultural land is finite. We all need food and land to grow that food. STOP building houses and buildings on prime farm land. As a resident of Norfolk County for over 20 years I insist that farm land be kept as such. Read more

Keep Waterford a small town, that’s why we moved here 10 years ago. I understand why the silos were torn down because they were unsafe. But those houses going in there are designed for a big city, not our town. There are 2 other lots cleared for housing on McNicoll street also. Read more

If you eat food, don’t develop housing over farm land. If you plan on your children eating food, don’t develop housing over farmland. If you have aging parents that eat food, don’t develop housing over farmland. If you have grandchildren that eat food, don’t develop housing over farmland. Read more

I don't agree with this proposal. The plan is to pave over "Prime Agricultural Land" to build housing where there are limited employment opportunities. The vast majority of people that are moving to the Norfolk housing developments are commuting to larger cities for work. Read more

I live in Norfolk County- Waterford. There is so much building happening that the schools are over crowded. There is extra dust being kicked up into the air, and ground is getting washed out in the rain, that didn't happen previously. Read more

I am not against development but not on land we can grow food on. Our infrastructure currently needs upgrading and work for the people we have. Growth does not lead to prosperity! Development must be done responsibly and on land that is not good for anything else such as growing food. Read more
