I disagree with the proposal to expand municipal boundaries to accommodate the proposed development. The site proposed for this large development endangers protected water sources and farmland. This is not necessary, and flies in the face of reports from council advisors. Read more

I am against using valuable farmland to build expensive houses because we need farms for food for people and farm animals. The water problem in Norfolk County is decades old, yet there is no improvement to our failing structures. Read more

Ontario‘s Agriculture is worth $48 billion to the economy. There are 860,000 jobs in related to Agriculture in Ontario. Norfolk County is a major contributor to this economy with 218,000 acres of farmland including speciality soils unique to Norfolk and unlike other areas of Ontario. Read more

Norfolk County is in need of development land as it can no longer rely solely on agriculture for its property tax base. The elected council has taken the necessary steps to accommodate growth and have a very responsible growth plan proposal for the next 26 years. Read more

Why would you want to build houses on farmland. ?? Once all the land is gone ,you can't EAT Money!! There's enough housing in small towns. You just don't know how, to look after the abandoned buildings we have. Fix them up ,n house the homeless. Make them into apartment s, that are affordable. Read more

Norfolk counties plan is to expand onto farmland and wetlands in Simcoe. I oppose this expansion. We cannot allow to loose this land. Norfolk county has some of the most fertile land in the province, growing a wide range of food. You can't keep increasing the population and loosing farmland. Read more
