This proposal takes Toronto one massive step backwards from work that has been done to improve the environment and quality of life for people (and animals) in the city and beyond. This short-term solution will only wreak more havoc in years to come. Do better, Ontario.

Not only is this Therme megaspa project a colossal waste of taxpayer money that would be better serving Ontarians in healthcare, hiring doctors and nurses and restoring ERs from closure, and mental health services, but it is already an environmental disaster and eyesore in the making. Read more

This is a terrible idea for the city and immediate community. That area is a public park and active beach...which we don't have a lot of. This decision will further decay the city, and is based on a corrupt deal with Therme. There is NO WAY we should let this pass. Read more

I'm commenting on the proposed interim combined sewer to support development at Ontario Place's new Ford spa development. It goes against decades of hard work by the City to separate and replace combined sewers across the city to prevent discharges of raw sewage into our beloved Lake Ontario. Read more

I adamantly oppose the proposed interim sewer changes being proposed around 955 Lakeshore. This proposal goes directly against all of the environment preservation that we have worked towards for our lakes and wildlife in Ontario. Read more

I am a life long resident of the Toronto waterfront and fish every weekend. I’ve seen the water quality decline over the years and we can’t let it deteriorate any more. If the spa is built it will dump even more raw sewage into a beautiful fresh water lake we all like to enjoy. Read more
