This project is to divert an untreated wastewater pipe (that empties now into “open” waters on the south/west side of the Ontario Place’s Island) towards an “enclosed” space of the West Channel, behind the breakwater wall. Read more

I strongly do not support this sewage redirection as it creates a higher risk environment for Torontonians and wildlife. I do not support this entire project at Ontario Place, it is a gross mid allocation of taxpayer money and must be stopped and investigated immediately.

Lake Ontario is a living entity supporting thousands of communities, including, of course, Toronto. As the largest urban community on the lake, we have a responsibility to help protect Lake Ontario's waters for everyone on the lake. Read more

Do not approve this proposal because it will allow raw sewage to mix with storm water. If that is allowed it will ruin recreation, kill wildlife, promote disease and devalue residences and businesses. This short-sided plan is based on greed. Read more

I urge you to deny this request as it will negatively affect water quality. Keeping in mind that people swim and paddle in this water, countless other species depend on it, and of course it is the source of our drinking water, this application should not be approved.
