I am dismayed that the government is planning to approve a proposal to dump raw sewage in the lake near Ontario Place. Many people use Ontario Place for sport. This is short sighted and is undesirable for the residents of Toronto and Ontario. Read more

The proposal to redirect sewage at Ontario place seems ill-conceived. I worry that this will damage the lake ecosystem and puts in danger the health and safety of those (myself included) who love to swim at Ontario place. Please reject this permit, which seems rushed. Read more

I’m highly distressed and disappointed that the Ford government is choosing to needlessly pollute Lake Ontario around the West Island. The lake is a priceless resource for Ontarians, and more intimately Torontonians in this case. Read more

Lake Ontario is absolutely vital to the city of Toronto, and allowing the dumping of storm water overflow directly into the lake, including salts, will be devastating for the wildlife. The government’s duty is to protect our environment from needless destruction. Read more
