The government should not loosen the requirements for recycling. The producers said they could do this job better than municipalities and should not get out of this deal. It is critical that we increase recycling and reuse of packaging and products ASAP. Read more

As an Ontario consumer, this is a major step backward. I diligently compost and recycle and have lived abroad where requirements for recycling are much more onerous than here. Recycling was not optional and producers were required to clearly label materials to facilitate recycling. Read more

I am against this amendment. All Ontario residents should have equal access to the Blue Box Program so it should be rolled out to all Multi res and medium /high density residences across the province. This sounds like they are trying to get out of their commitment. Read more

Huge environmental concerns on how dangerous it would be to our air, water and agriculture if this proposal goes through. This proposal would allow toxic material to be burned at the Carmeuse lime kiln located in the Lafarge quarry in Flamborough. Read more

I strongly do not support this amendment. It is a distinct step backwards, in a market-favoring decision which will not benefit Ontarian citizens or our environment - more precisely, it will directly harm people just to appease corporate profits. Read more
