I think Bill 5 is extremely dangerous and would be a horrendous Bill to pass because it would exempt entire regions from provincial laws and environmental safeguards through the the creation of “special economic zones” – such as those in and around the proposed Ring of Fire mining development. This is a horrible ecological disaster waiting to happen. This will destroy towns and cities, as well as damage ecosystems, kill native animals, and cause irreparable damage to the environment in and around the involved areas. Read more

As a Canadian citizen, I oppose to bill five our wildlife should be protected, and the riches that we have been placed in. Bill five should not be excepted and is an opposition of all living life, including ourselves.

I am opposed to Bill 5 I am opposed to the end of the Endangered Species Act I am opposed to Bill 5 that would allow special economic zones in Ontario. I am against the Ontario government not working with and listening to indigenous communities through the passing of Bill 5. Read more

I strongly oppose this bill. We should have more environmental protections not less. We need to have more oversight on development and developers, we should not be cutting "red tape", it has and only leads to corruption. Read more
