I strongly disagree with this proposal. It seems driven by developers without any long term safety for our environment and the species that live in it. The gov is supposed to protect species not look for work around to destroy it. Shameful.

I strongly oppose this bill, and any action that removes environmental protections for the sake of private benefit. We do not need to sacrifice the natural environment in order to build housing or other infrastructure - we can support both. Read more

I oppose bill 5. I oppose the government having the ability to take endangered species off of official lists created by specialists. I oppose creation of new buildings and constructed areas over preexicting protected areas.

I do not support Bill 5. Bill 5 is not substantiated by any environmental scientists. Bill 5 will cause irreparable harm to Ontario’s endangered species and ecologically sensitive areas. I do not support short cuts for industry. I do not support any cuts to the endangered species act.
