Water levels on Lake Scugog (and many other lakes in the surrounding region) were so low last year as to impede recreation, causing significant damage to boats. Climate change is likely to cause such issues moving forward. Read more

Please do not allow this to happen. Our water levels have been getting lower year over year. This will impact the environment. A lot of these waterways inter connect, taking water from one affects many other waterways. Read more

I am a waterfront property owner on Lake Scugog. Last year we had usually low water levels in the spring and were deeply concerned how this affected wildlife in the lake and it's wetlands especially frog, turtle and fish populations which have declinind year over year. Read more

Lake Scugog in the last few years from May to Oct. drops about 10 inches to about 13 inches. Does the MOE think that is okay? I never thought about it one way or the other, but experts must be aware of this happening. What is their perspective? Why was it not given with this notice? Read more
