We have approved renewal of Permit To Take Water Number No. 2455-BE8RQ3 Toronto Standard Condominium Corporation No. 2565 to keep underground parking dry on St. Clair Avenue West, in the City of Toronto, Ontario. 

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to Procyk Farms Limited for the existing subsurface disposal system for the treatment and disposal of sanitary wastewater at a maximum daily flow of 15,000 L/d, serving an existing bunkhouse for 60 seasonal agricultural workers at the site located in Norfolk County.

We have approved a new Permit to Take Water No. 8520-BDKJWH for Ainslie Hill I Inc. for construction dewatering purposes to allow for the installation of municipal services and basements, and the construction of a stormwater management pond and sewage pumping station at the site.

We have approved a new Environmental Compliance Approval No. 3807-BEKKZ2 for 581777 Ontario Limited for a new on-site sewage works for the treatment and disposal of sanitary wastewater and kitchen wastewater generated from an existing restaurant, motel and residence.

We have approved a new Environmental Compliance Approval No.2795-BB6LGF to Taggart Aggregates Ltd., the operator of a portable crushing plant that will operate in various locations in Ontario.

We issued an Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air) No. 0128-BCZRAH replacing all the current Environmental Compliance Approvals for air emissions at this facility including the addition of new and historically unapproved sources for all air emissions from Global Plas Inc.

We approved a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage works) No. 9598-BD8M59 for the establishment and use of a seasonal subsurface sewage disposal system to service a three bedroom cottage at 56 Third Line Road, in the Township of Centre Wellington, Ontario.

We have approved the amended Environmental Compliance Approval (Air) for GFL Environmental Inc., located in Toronto, Ontario. The facility undertakes soil remediation. The new ECA number is 7257-AXSTJK.

A Place to Grow: Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe 2019 came into effect on May 16, 2019 replacing the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2017. Modifications to O. Reg. 311/06 support the implementation of the plan by providing transitional treatment for certain planning matters currently in process.

Following review of stakeholder submissions and other developments following the Ministry’s Green Button regulatory proposal in 2017-18, the Ministry decided not to proceed with the regulation as proposed. The Ministry is now considering options to make energy data available to consumers.
