The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-26-000041 to Fred Kiernicki for early exploration activities. The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.
The proposed work program for the Methuen Township Marble Project would be a stripping and drilling bulk sampling program removing no more than 950 tonnes of material, keeping the project below the threshold of advanced exploration. The location of the bulk sampling is a near surface rock outcrop with light overburden, in a forested area.
