We have completed the 5-year review of the Guide. Changes to the Guide include alignment with updated standards/criteria and regulations, as well as a revised assessment methodology. The updated Guide will apply to new projects.

We are proposing to revise the Forest Management Guide for Conserving Biodiversity at the Stand and Site Scales (Stand and Site Guide). The proposed revisions will address recommendations from the guide review and incorporate the latest science, practitioner experience, Indigenous knowledge, and community perspectives.
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has amended the Greenbelt Plan to add 13 new Urban River Valley areas and lands in the Paris Galt Moraine in Wellington County and remove or redesignate 15 areas of land.
