On March 5, 2021, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O.Reg) 169/21. Minor consequential changes have been made to Ontario Regulation 299/19: Additional Residential Units. The changes are intended to bring the regulation into alignment with the Planning Act changes made by Bill 23, the More Homes Built Faster Act, 2022 regarding additional residential units.
