Dana Canada Corporation requested to withdraw their application for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air). The application is considered withdrawn and no approval was issued.

Concurrent with the decision to amalgamate licences No. 2129, No. 2130 and No. 2136, approval was granted to amend the consolidated site plan to create a more cohesive operational and rehabilitation plan for amalgamated licence No. 2129.

Objectives and strategies have been established to help maintain the fisheries within Fisheries Management Zone 12 of the Ottawa River. The Fisheries Management Plan will help promote ecological sustainability and evaluate the effectiveness of how it's managed.

We issued Permit to Take Water No. 6258-BRDJ2M to CRH Canada Group Inc. on January 14, 2021. The Permit is a renewal of CRH Canada's previous Permit, and will expire on January 13, 2031. This Permit allows water taking from one pond and one well for aggregate washing purposes at Teedon Pit, at rates similar to previous Permits.

Approval is granted for a waste disposal site to be used for receiving and processing of non-hazardous liquid industrial waste and contaminated wastewater.

A number of amending regulations under the Planning Act were filed on March 5, 2018 and came into force on April 3, 2018. The changes to the regulations facilitate implementation of legislative changes made by the Building Better Communities and Conserving Watersheds Act, 2017.

The Minister has issued an overall benefit permit under the Endangered Species Act, 2007 to St. Mary’s Cement Inc. for aggregate extraction activities that will impact Blanding’s Turtle. The permit includes actions to benefit the species and minimize adverse effects and requires monitoring and reporting.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval was granted for  existing subsurface disposal works for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of domestic sewage, having a total rated capacity of 43,625 L/day, serving the 1000 Islands/Mallorytown KOA Holiday Campground.

We have finalized a protocol that sets out rules for creating greenhouse gas offset credits from the collection and destruction of ozone depleting substances.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 8807-CMQMLQ to Lofty Riverside GP Inc.on January 3, 2023 for construction/dewatering and remediation purposes. Water will be taken from two ponds located in the City of Ottawa, Ontario. This new permit expires on January 6, 2026.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-25-000101 to Juno Corp. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to: issue the mineral exploration permit.
