The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-25-000102 to Juno Corp. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to: issue the mineral exploration permit.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on February 25, 2020 in respect of Application 54-C-196366 to register an easement over PIN 61315-0273 to access lands described as PIN 61315-0153, Henwood unincorporated township, District of Timiskaming. The last day this decision can be appealed is March 16, 2020.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent to sever a lot for continued residential purposes was granted on March 8, 2024, subject to conditions.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on January 5, 2023 in respect of Application 58-C-224688 for a new lot for resource-based recreational use on lands described as PIN 62345-0254, Unincorporated Township of Upsala, District of Thunder Bay. The last day this decision can be appealed is January 25, 2023.

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Air & Noise) to KW Ready Mix Inc., a ready-mix concrete batching plant located at 38 Forwell Road in the City of Kitchener, Ontario.

We are proposing a minor change to the transition regulation for the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe. The change would support implementation of a standard method to calculate the amount of land needed for development until 2041, known as a land needs assessment. This will help municipalities to ensure land is used efficiently.

On September 18, 2022 we issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval No. A210742 for the use and operation of a waste disposal site (processing/transfer) and Class 1 soil management site for management of excess soil limited to dry soil.

This is the renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 3716-8UZMCU for Triton Water Canada Holdings, Inc. and is for water bottling purposes. The new issued permit No. is 4788-C5TJTZ and was issued on Monday November 15, 2021 with an expiry date of November 15, 2026.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) has been issued to 2629045 Ontario Limited, a ready-mix concrete batching facility and recycled construction materials, salt, and top soil depot, located in the City of Windsor, Ontario.

Approval is granted to to add glass recycling operations to the facility’s operations, as well as changes to the quantities of waste received and the processed materials stored at the site.
