We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval to 712724 Ontario Limited, for the establishment of existing class 4 subsurface sewage disposal works rated at 57,000 L/day, to service an office, public washroom, laundry and recreation center, and tent and trailer park located at 849 Sauble Falls Parkway in the town of South Bruce Peninsula.

The ministry renewed an Environmental Compliance Approval (waste site) for a hauled sewage disposal site as described in this notice.

The ministry issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to Maple Leaf Marinas Holdings GP Inc. for upgrades to the existing sewage works for the treatment and subsurface disposal of domestic sewage, serving the existing Wye Heritage Marina located in the Township of Tay, County of Simcoe, Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (waste site) 20-PET-61725 FOR Chadwick Gordon Munro was issued on March 31, 2021 for a hauled sewage site in Havelock-Belmont Methuen, Ontario.

An amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval (air and noise) No. 3613-A2KPR7 with Operational Flexibility was issued to Northern Sun Mining Corp., a mill processing nickel, copper, and gold ore located in South Porcupine, Ontario.

The Ministry issued an Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) for Brazeau Sanitation Inc. for a hauled sewage waste disposal site. The ECA is for the storage tank of residential hauled sewage, located in the Municipality of The Nation, Ontario.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility has been granted to Greenfield Global Inc., a fuel-grade ethanol and very-high-quality (VHQ) potable alcohol manufacturing facility located in the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 0644-CEWPGH on June 2, 2022, which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 0580-BBXGY6 for Sherborne Lodge Developments Limited, for dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from one pond related to construction activities in the Town of Oakville, Regional Municipality of Halton, Ontario.

We are extending the current moratorium on new or increased permits to take groundwater to produce bottled water for up to 6 months, to April 1, 2021. This extension gives us time to thoroughly consider the feedback we received and further engage on how we can implement our proposed enhancements to Ontario’s water taking program.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on December 23, 2022 in respect of Application 54-C-213228 to sever the existing residential dwelling from agricultural lands, on the subject property known as 113377 Marshall Road, PIN 61271-0112, in the unincorporated township of Ingram, District of Timiskaming. 

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste) was issued to Terra Nova Environmental Services Inc.

Application 60-C-171066 was approved on October 9, 2019 subject to conditions. The effect of this application is to create a new lot for resource-based recreational use. The last date of appeal of this decision under the Planning Actis October 29, 2019.

Related application 60-C-190125 was also approved.
