The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has amended the Greenbelt Area boundary regulation (O. Reg 59/05) to add 13 new Urban River Valley areas and lands in the Paris Galt Moraine in Wellington County and remove 15 areas of land.
We have approved amendments to Grand River’s Source Protection Plan and Assessment Report to ensure Ontario’s municipal drinking water sources continue to be protected. The amendments update existing water quality protections in Wellington County, include new water quantity protections in Brant County, with minor updates to other municipalities.
