We want to inform you that the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has received Regional Official Plan Amendment 33 (ROPA 33) from Peel Region for a decision. ROPA 33 proposes to expand the City of Mississauga's settlement area boundary within the Peel Region Official Plan by approximately 350 hectares.
We have approved amendments to Grand River’s Source Protection Plan and Assessment Report to ensure Ontario’s municipal drinking water sources continue to be protected. The amendments update existing water quality protections in Wellington County, include new water quantity protections in Brant County, with minor updates to other municipalities.
This proposal is for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 1993-A9UKGD for EVOLVE RECYCLING INC., a facility which shreds and processes scrap tires to produce crumb rubber for further applications, located in the City of Brantford.
