We made regulatory amendments to support a smooth transition from the federal OBPS to Ontario’s EPS program which applies new obligations and greenhouse gas performance standards for Ontario industry beginning on January 1, 2022. The amendments will complement the changes proposed in 019-2813.
We have made small changes to the boundary of Sandbanks Provincial Park. These changes add acquired land to the park, allow the transfer of a boat launch property to the County of Prince Edward and allow the County of Prince Edward to widen a section of County Road 12 to a standard width.
The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-20-000104 to Battery Mineral Resources Limited for early exploration activities approximately 80 kilometres West by North West from the town of Temiskaming Shores, in Milner township.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing sought feedback on an approach to update the Projection Methodology Guideline to reflect the land use planning policies in 2021. The Province considered the feedback received in the development of Proposed Updates to the Projection Methodology Guideline available for public input (see ERO#025-0844).
