Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 60-C-193577 for the creation of one (1) new water access resource-based recreational lot for land described as PIN 42150-1016, Pcl 5131, Loc G1503, on Hay Island, Lake of the Woods, Unincorporated Territory, District of Kenora.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 58-C-198773 for the creation of one (1) new resource-based recreational lot for land described as PIN 62327-0020, Mary Lake, Unincorporated Township of Jacques, District of Thunder Bay. The last day of appeal of this decision is September 18, 2019.

A decision was made to renew Permit to Take Water No. 1586-8FLQPB. Permit to Take Water No. 4701-C2MJQH was issued on May 2, 2021 for communal water supply for Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities Inc. in the Town of New Tecumseth for a period of 10 years.

On August 29, 2025, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 206/25 in the Township of Springwater. 

On July 17, 2025, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 158/25 in the Town of Innisfil. Gateway Casinos Innisfil requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.

Cornwall Gravel Company Limited was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit and quarry in the Township of South Stormont.

On December 20, 2024, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 561/24 in the City of Toronto. The City of Toronto requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order. 

On August 21, 2024, the Town of Ajax notified the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing that the request for a zoning order on lands known municipally as 1401 Harwood Avenue North has been formally withdrawn.

We finalized a new regulation that will allow the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority to issue administrative penalties for not abiding by the provisions in the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 and specified regulations.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 5645-CGGMXL for Artmico Holdings G.P. Inc. was issued on July 19, 2022 for dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from a dewatering array located in the Township of York, City of Toronto. The new permit expires on December 31, 2026.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval No. 3741-BQNNKE to 2058280 Ontario Limited, for the expansion of sewage works for the transmission, treatment and disposal of stormwater runoff from multiple lots located at 1910 St Laurent Boulevard in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.

Renewal Permit to Take Water No. 8603-D8DKW6 was issued to 2800319 Ontario Inc., as general partner for and on behalf of Liv (Hawk Ridge) LP for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from one pond related to golf course irrigation activities located in Severn, County of Simcoe, Ontario.

On February 6, 2026, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing made a Minister's Zoning Order in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury as Zoning Order 003-2026.

We would like to advise you that the 2020 – 2030 Forest Management Plan for the Lakehead Forest has been approved by the Ministry’s Regional Director and is available for inspection.

Following review of stakeholder submissions and other developments following the Ministry’s Green Button regulatory proposal in 2017-18, the Ministry decided not to proceed with the regulation as proposed. The Ministry is now considering options to make energy data available to consumers.
