James Dick Construction has applied for a Class A licence (Category 1 and 2 - Pit and Quarry Below Water) to excavate aggregate from a pit and quarry 29.4 hectares in size. This application is for the establishment of a new pit and quarry. The annual tonnage condition applies for is 990,000 tonnes.
On April 1, 2022, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 250/22. The Township of Cavan Monaghan requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.

Following review of stakeholder submissions and other developments following the Ministry’s Green Button regulatory proposal in 2017-18, the Ministry decided not to proceed with the regulation as proposed. The Ministry is now considering options to make energy data available to consumers.
The Ministry is proposing to issue a permit to Transition Metals Corporation to undertake these early exploration activities: Mechanized drilling and mechanized stripping.
The exploration activities are located approximately 80 kilometres West by North West from the town of Temiskaming Shores, in Nicol township.

We finalized a new regulation that will allow the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority to issue administrative penalties for not abiding by the provisions in the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 and specified regulations.
This proposal is to amend Permit to Take Water No. 5874-955TM9 for water supply purposes. Water will be taken from six (6) wells related to campground activities, located in the Township of Centre Wellington, County of Wellington, Ontario. The amendment is for the addition of one (1) water supply well.
