Permit to Take Water No. R P-300-1931294373 version 1.0 has been issued to Lafarge Canada Inc. to renew Permit to Take Water No. 5746-9VTQKC to provide water supply for its Alliston Ready Mix Concrete Plant. Water will be taken from one well for Ready Mix Concrete Plant Operation located in Adjala-Tosorontio.

Certificate of Property Use No. 1505-AFBR7X-1 was issued to the owner, Rotary Club of Sarnia Charitable Foundation, of the property located at 1206 Michigan Avenue in Sarnia, Ontario, as part of their continued use of and any future development at the site.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to Blacks Creek Innovations Inc., for the establishment of stormwater management works, to service a firewood processing equipment manufacturing facility located on land described as Part 2, Plan 15R-12103 Separated Town of Prescott, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville.

To address the need for better affordable housing choices, the Promoting Affordable Housing Act, 2016 proposed amendments to the Planning Act that would enable municipalities to use inclusionary zoning through the land-use planning system. The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval for industrial sewage treatment works serving Waverley Pit No. 2 (owned by The Sarjeant Company Ltd.) located at 1379 Baseline Road South, in the Township of Tiny, County of Simcoe.

The Exploration Permit was issued once all Aboriginal communities and the public had the opportunity to provide comment or raise their concerns. The accepted Exploration Permit is valid for a period of 3 years.
