Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on April 13, 2021 in respect of Application 57-C-210466 to sever a 1.16-hectare piece of land from PIN 31386-0129 to be transferred to the neighboring lot, in Aberdeen unincorporated township, Algoma District. The last day this decision can be appealed is May 3, 2021.

The last day this decision can be appealed is January 22, 2020.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on January 2, 2020 in respect of Application 57-C-194100 for the transfer of 0.01 hectares of land from PIN 31386-0094 as a lot addition to PIN 31386-0129, Aberdeen unincorporated township, District of Algoma. The last day this decision can be appealed is January 22, 2020.

A decision was made on April 6, 2022 to approve the entire official plan for the Township of Hornepayne with four (4) modifications.

A decision to approve all of Official Plan Amendment No. 8 to the Official Plan of the Geraldton and Suburban Planning Area, as adopted by Municipal By-law 19-39, was made with one modification on March 19, 2020. A modification was made to ensure that all uses related to the mine development will be compatible with sensitive land uses in the area.

A provisional consent was granted subject to conditions on May 3, 2023. The last date to appeal the decision in May 23, 2023.

The ministry issued a Certificate of Property Use to The Municipality of Central Elgin for their Port Stanley Harbour Lands, specifically the East Headlands located in Port Stanley, Ontario.

Application 60-T-198176 to create seven (7) lots, and two (2) blocks on Burley Island was approved on January 28, 2025, subject to conditions. The last date to appeal the decision under the Planning Act is February 17, 2025.

Amendment 1 to A Place to Grow: Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe is now in effect. The amendment includes changes to the population and employment forecasts, the horizon year for planning, and other policies to increase housing supply, create jobs, attract business investment and better align with infrastructure.

The Director of Mine Rehabilitation has acknowledged receipt of the Closure Plan according to the provisions of the Mining Act.  The Certified Closure Plan is now considered filed and the proponent must comply with the Closure Plan.

Approval was granted for a site plan amendment to allow Aaroc Aggregates Ltd. to remove aggregate from below the water table in a pit located in the township of Zorra.

A decision was made on June 5, 2019 to approve, with modifications, Official Plan Amendment 405 to the City of Toronto’s Official Plan, as adopted by By-law 1284-2018. Notice of this decision was issued on June 5, 2019.

This decision extends (by notice under s. 36 of O. Reg. 419/05) the expiry date of a site-specific standard approval for benzo[a]pyrene for Stelco’s Hamilton Works integrated iron and steel facility in Hamilton until June 30, 2023.
