The ministry has accepted the risk assessment prepared for the owner, I2 Developments (Bronoco) Inc., as part of the development plans for property at 150 Bronoco Avenue, Toronto. The director is considering issuing a Certificate of Property Use ("CPU") in relation to the property.
In January 2025, the Minister of Infrastructure amended Ontario Regulation 194/24: Zoning Order - Ontario Place as enabled by section 6 of the Rebuilding Ontario Place Act, 2023 and section 47 of the Planning Act.
The Ministry is seeking feedback on proposed projects in South Simcoe to support housing and job growth. Ten projects are identified for provincial coordination aligned with existing/planned infrastructure. This does not indicate a decision. Remaining projects form part of the consultation and will inform municipal and provincial planning.

Reg. 160/22, made pursuant to clause 47(8) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as O. Reg. 491/22. The Township of Cavan Monaghan requested that the Minister consider amending the Zoning Order.
On October 30, 2020, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation 607/20 which permits a mix of commercial, employment, and residential uses in the City of Pickering. The City of Pickering requested the Minister consider making a Zoning Order.
On April 28, 2020, Ontario Regulation 181/20 revoked three Minister’s Zoning Orders (MZOs) in Bradford West Gwillimbury Highway 400 Strategic Settlement Employment Area. Revoking these MZOs reduces regulatory duplication, as the provisions of the MZOs have been implemented through local zoning (Zoning By-law 2017-61).
On Friday, May 17, 2024, the Minister of Infrastructure has filed an enhanced Minster’s Zoning Order (eMZO) pursuant of Section 6 Rebuilding Ontario Place Act and Section 47 of Planning Act. This enhanced Minister’s Zoning Order supports the government’s plan to rebuild Ontario Place.
