The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-25-000219 to International Explorers and Prospectors Inc. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to issue the mineral exploration permit.

The ministry issued a Certificate of Property Use to The Corporation of the City of Stratford for their property located 350 Downie Street in the City of Stratford, Ontario.

A decision was made to approve amendments to the Niagara Escarpment Plan (NEP) to allow greater flexibility for the consideration for the development of agricultural uses, on-farm diversified uses (OFDUs) and agricultural-related uses (ARUs)

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval with Operational Flexibility (air & noise) to Sandeep Sajjan Enterprises Ltd., located in 1400 The Queensway, Toronto, Ontario.

A decision was made to proceed with the proposal as described in Environmental Registry posting #013-1669, which will provide an extension to the current regulation for forestry operations in managed Crown forests, include those species listed in 2017 in applicable regulations, and implement changes relating to safe harbour authorizations.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent to create one new mutual easement for access was granted on March 8, 2024, subject to conditions. 

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on January 14, 2025 in respect of Application 58-C-248177 for an easement on lands described as PIN 62315-0342 on Stewart Bay, Shebandowan Lake, Conacher Township, District of Thunder Bay. The last day this decision can be appealed is February 3, 2025.

This decision is for the renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 2784-8EUR9T for The Thornhill Club. Water will be taken from one well and one pond for golf course irrigation purposes. Permit to Take Water No. 0765-BWEPEA was issued on February 22, 2021 for a period of 10 years.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 7881-BYRVP7 on March 15, 2021, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 0436-AGSKSW, for The Canadian Canoe Museum located in Peterborough, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of March 15, 2031.

Concurrent with the decision to amalgamate licence No. 2129, No. 2130 and No. 2136, approval was granted to amend the consolidated site plan to create a more cohesive operational and rehabilitation plan for amalgamated licence No. 2129.

This Application for Consent was given conditional approval on March 22, 2022, was amended on August 2, 2022, and was further amended on January 4, 2023.  Last date to appeal decision is January 24, 2023.
