Hustonville Sand & Gravel Limited was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Southgate.

Application 60-C-249903, to transfer land to accommodate an existing encroaching septic field, was approved on April 28, 2025, as applied for by the Ministry, subject to conditions. The last date to appeal this decision is May 18, 2025.

The application made by C.R. Chittick Construction Limited to amend their current site plan has been approved.

Approval was granted for the amendment to allow James Thoume Construction Ltd. to increase the annual tonnage limit of aggregate to be removed for a pit operating in the Township of Centre Wellington.

The Ministry of Infrastructure has updated its Statement of Environmental Values to reflect the changes in its structure and mandate, as well as to acknowledge the priority of addressing climate change.
