We have issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (Air & Noise) to ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks Americas Limited. This facility manufactures laser welded blanks (steel sheets) for the automotive industry.
The Minister has issued an overall benefit permit under the Endangered Species Act, 2007 to Mattamy Homes Ltd. to develop a residential subdivision that will impact Blanding’s Turtle and its habitat. The permit includes actions to benefit the species and minimize adverse effects, and outlines monitoring and reporting requirements.
