We are revoking Ontario Regulation 323/94 (Dry Cleaners) which required dry cleaning establishments to employ a person trained in the environmental management of contaminants and waste in connection with the operation of dry cleaning equipment. Revoking the regulation will reduce administrative burden and costs to small businesses in Ontario.
We have approved the amendments to the assessment report and source protection plan for the Grand River Source Protection Area. The amendments update the existing protection areas around six drinking water systems in Grey County (Township of Southgate), City of Hamilton and County of Brant.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1188804864 on November 25, 2022, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 3442-BEUKU5 for CRH Canada Group Inc. Dewdney Mountain Farms Ltd. (c/o Paul Ritchie) has applied for a Class “A” licence, Category 4 (Quarry above Water) to excavate consolidated aggregate material from a limestone quarry of 175.0 hectares in size.
