First a name change - Building faster is not building smarter, change it to "building faster and dumber act"

Changes required to protect the people on Ontario from this act. By making acts "faster" and "smarter" you inherently remove the rights of the people of Ontario, people along these TOC's will face years of construction, noise pollution, dust pollution... etc. This amendment will put the people of Ontario's health above all these dangerous acts.

By the way, who thinks up those ridiculous names?

This will give landowners, residents a speedy streamlined process, cutting red tape, laws, lawyers and other government barriers.
This will allow the people "in their sole and absolute discretion" to say that the disturbances from these activities has reduced their quality of life and have the right to request that their homes/land be bought out by the proponents.
This buyout price will 20% above current market value plus all expenses, such as, but not limited to moving, lawyers...etc.
There will be an additional $100,000 per year (of time living there) paid to landowners and residents who have lived/owned property there before these new activities started.
