This is for ER0- NUMBER -25-1181 (Fort Erie)

My friend's weekly coffee meet up informed me of this Official Plan that The Town of Fort Erie has turned into the provincial government. I wanted to read it before posting on here. I am not one likely to just shrug my shoulders and say "what can I do?" We talked about how Fort Erie seems to be losing it's identity by approving these housing developments that seem catered not to the local population or the easy going lifestyle that local businesses offer. Fort Erie offers much outside of the areas that are proposed for development. Local rural areas for development can provide a nice sense of peace, community and provide a relief for any transportation issues. I don't know much about if many of these areas are owned by local residents but I wouldn't be surprised if the majority were not because it seems the money to improve Fort Erie should benefit residents of Fort Erie. Not someone buying up land to make money. This doesn't put community first. Everyone is welcome to what Fort Erie offers. I just hope that this Plan handed in by The Town of Fort Erie does not get approved because it looks unpolished and without feedback from the residents in Crystal Beach, Ridgeway, Fort Erie, Stevensville, Crescent Park and anywhere else that I might have forgotten to mention. I will feel sad that the young generation won't get the advantages I had if this Plan gets approved. So NO for me on this Plan.
