Environmental crisis is not only immanent it is upon us. Scientific study after scientific study confirms that we must act urgently as a collective. The province of Ontario needs to cooperate with the federal initiative to track green house gas emissions and support a price on carbon. Currently the Conservative government is backtracking on any initiative to mitigate the effects of climate change–whereas as the most populous province we are situated to lead Canada with our own Green New Deal. Now that would be leadership. The party who not only promises to do this but acts accordingly has my vote and support.
