I would like to see more…

I would like to see more concrete terms in this proposal addressing broader environmental concerns. There are many factors affecting fish populations, such as industrial pollution, illegal dumping near bodies of water, habitat loss, development, and of course overfishing. It would be great to see this plan include installing an environmental advisory committee to work with our Indigenous peoples, scientists, and environmental organizations to preserve, restore and protect our waterways and the surrounding habitats while creating a future for sustainable fishing. I find the language too vague when it comes to these matters.
