I like the idea of moving the lake trout closing date on Lake Temagami back to Labour Day. It could cause some economic hardship but, with climate change becoming an ever-clear reality, we must be proactive in helping the natural environment.

I would like to see more concrete terms in this proposal addressing broader environmental concerns. There are many factors affecting fish populations, such as industrial pollution, illegal dumping near bodies of water, habitat loss, development, and of course overfishing.

I am a licensed bait harvester/dealer. I grew up harvesting bait with my father and also worked at tourist camps as a fishing guide when I was younger.
Research is always good depending on how it is done. Lakes produce differently, there are weather factors, seasons can change quickly.

I have no objections to the closure of the lake trout season on Labor day as this will stop the harvesting of pre-spawning fish. I would like to see a Feb 1 opening for a longer winter fishery.

agree with proposal for put grow and take(pgt) brook trout lakes to have 5 fish limit no size restrictions. The previous size restriction made no sense at all and discouraged fishing of brook trout(pgt) lakes in FMZ and provided zero benefit for anybody.

Your 3 proposals for zone 11 would be equivalent to going to a restaurant and the only 3 items on the menu are, a dog poop sandwich, a cat poop sandwich and a bear poop sandwich. All 3 are non paletable and undesirable.
