On behalf of the FMZ10 council, i have been asked to submit a comment :
The Advisory Council for FMZ10 met on November 13, and at this meeting discussed the proposed Provincial Bait Strategy. We are currently formulating a formal group comment and plan to submit it directly to the MNRF via the FMZ10 project team.
The one item to mention in this submission, is that the majority of the Council "agrees with the general concept of restricting the use of live baitfish in natural Brook trout lakes ". It is the details to this concept that must be studied and reviewed.
