I did not know about this disease until I read about this morning. The information posted by the Ontario government indicates that this disease has not been found in the cervid population in Ontario. However, the CDC in B.C. indicates that it has been found in in Ontario.
Ontario may want to follow up with the CDC in B.C. to share its information in this regard.
Overall, I agree with Ontario's proposal.
