I would like to express my concern about the application by The Miller Group to have oversight of their operation at Boyington Pit #3 transferred to the Township of Uxbridge.

It seems to me that transferring oversight of a large company with a long history of non-compliance from the Ontario MNRF to the Township, which doesn't have the resources or expertise to inspect for violations or enforce compliance, is profoundly negligent and can't possibly have any positive outcomes.

I also have grave concerns about importing fill. The debacle of the Greenbank airport in Scugog should serve as fair warning when it comes to allowing this sort of activity in Uxbridge, particularly when Miller is proposing that oversight be downloaded to a township which is ill-equipped to manage the task.
