While I'm glad to see updates to this Act, it is not nearly enough. We need to stop the selling of exotic invasive plant species in this province. Species such as garlic mustard, periwinkle, goutweed, Dame's rocket, phragmities, exotic honeysuckles, oriental bittersweet, and many, many more continue to spread from garden landscapes into the wild, negatively impacting our native species, meadows, shores and forests. It should be made illegal to continue thier sale to unsuspecting or caring homeowners, the effect of these harmful species had been known for an extremely long time. How can they still be for sale??
