I hunt in 92B which has 3 controlled seasons. I have hunted the season in the past and in the future i plan to as well. Spending time with.my kids is priority number 1. By allowing bowhunters to hunt with orange during the extra 2 weeks of the controlled season, may allow them to put extra time in stand to fill their tags. Further it gives extra time to apprentices to learn the needed skills.

Also a suggestion of a early bow season for youth like the heritage days for waterfowl. Michigan has one 2 nd weekend in September. It only makes sense to allow the future of this way of life the first opportunity to fill their tags first, with no pressure on the herds. The cost of getting a hunting licence from the safety course should be free. Again we need to invest in future hunters to protect this way of life. The cost of the firearm course i agree with...
