Wetlands are extremely important for biodiversity, water filtration, carbon sequestration, and erosion prevention. They are essential for healthy communities, now more than ever during the climate crisis. Opening up currently significant wetlands to re-evaluation is a grave mistake. This proposal does not take into account the important role of wetlands!
