Destroying wetlands for housing development isn't going to fix the housing crisis. The new developments are going to be out of affordability range for people anyway. The only people gaining from this would be investors and construction companies. Destroying wetlands is not the answer and will make the province poorer in biodiversity. We need greenspaces for our mental health. It's also a source of economic benefit.
