This effort to develop on the greenbelt is an attack on the environment and sustainability of the province. Not only do these protected lands provide homes for wildlife, but it also provides necessary land required for filtration of our groundwater supply. Expanding urban development would be a huge mistake for the future of the province. Focus should be put on improving urban density before considering to destroy the greenbelt.
