We do need to hear from the public, as Doug Ford arrogantly indicated by saying "The public doesn't give two hoots" about the Ontario Greenbelt, and maybe he thinks, or maybe he hopes, that taxpayers will forget his government's administration, Greenbelt scandal.

This kind of pompous and presumptuous attitude is more than disrespectful to politics and the public that are watching, it actually works to undermine democracy itself when linked to the fact that there is only one hour of committee hearing to discuss Bill 136 and it will not be shared with public tax-payers/ public deputations.

Regarding Bill 136, I do not think many Ontario tax-payers want to hear Paul Calandra or the political party that created this Greenbelt Scandal mess, only allow one for hour, and then use that entire one hour to consume it alone, no matter how "entertaining of a guy" Paul Calandra thinks he may be.

Again, to only allow for one hour and then use that one hour to block public tax-payer serious concerns, in the form of removing public deputations at the committee, can be observed as being undemocratic and even immoral. The mere idea of this speaks about the one-sided politics that is currently taking place hear by this government administration.

If these discussion points are not going to be addressed during the Bill 136 hearing
then how do your reasonably think that the public is supposed to take the current
government administration seriously?

Important discussion points:

1,Will the carved out land be a)restored and b)protected,
particularly The Duffins Rouge Agricultural
Preserve?

2. What will happen to the four layers of protection regarding the Duffins Rouge Agricultural Preserve?
Specifically, a) The Greenbelt b)The Duffins Rouge Agricultural Preserve Acts with its *easements*?
c)The Central Pickering Development Plan? d)Ministerial Zoning Order 154/03?

3. As it is now, from many peoples' understanding relating to items c) and d) are not even proposed to be reinstated. Is this true or false? If true, then the Ford administration needs to do an about face and restore that which was carved out that also means reinstating all the land protections back in its place.
