Carbon tax has been scientifically proven to be an effective means of significantly reducing carbon emissions, as well as being financially profitable for residents. Please don't waste Ontario taxpayers' money conducting an unnecessary review into what would be more effective so that you can save the big businesses money. Please don't make Ontario contribute to greater carbon emissions when we have a very real and tangible (and already in effect! You literally have to do nothing.) especially in light of the UN report that came out the past couple weeks. Investing in climate change is a bad investment. And a deadly one. Please put ontario residents (and the global climate) before business priorities. You owe us that.
