This Bill is just silly. The kindest thing I can say about the notion that bike lanes cause congestion is this, from H. L. Mencken: “[T]here is always a well-known solution to every human problem—neat, plausible, and wrong.”
This Bill is clearly not meant to actually address congestion; it’s entirely political.
Follow the evidence of the studies instead. Cycle Toronto can provide them to you.
