Bike lanes are very important and their installation and maintenance should be the city's responsibility. The province should not be able to decide to remove bike lanes on a whim. These bike lanes have all gone through rigorous consultations and city planning before their installation, and should remain.
Bike lanes keep our citizens safe. The gridlock should be dealt with by road tolls on highways leading into the city or congestion pricing.
