The bike lanes in Toronto have been the fastest way for me to get around. They have been the safest for me when they are protected, and I’ve seen firsthand how better bile lanes encourage people to get out of their cars (reducing gridlock) and ride a bike when possible. Removing them would make Toronto a less safe and far more gridlocked city.
